Midday Moves
Join your Move More @ Work Team for a full body strength and stretch routine. Exercises are body weight, low-impact, and can be done seated or standing.

Move More @ Work is an ongoing campaign facilitated by University Health and Wellbeing’s Health Promotion and Engagement office. Their goal is to encourage Spartans to engage in physical activity and movement throughout the workday. 

This series is a free group fitness class (in person and virtual) to take a movement break during the workday. Two ways to join: in-person in the Green Room at the MSU Library or via Zoom.

Artist Workshop: Using 360 Cameras to Show Changes to Place
Join the DSL Graduate Arts Fellow, Hailey Becker (Art, Art History and Design and Forestry) in a workshop on using 360 cameras to capture changes to place. Participants will be guided through the basics of recording and editing 360 footage, ending with their  footage being displayed in the Digital Scholarship Lab 360 Room. Using 360 footage can be a great way to archive an artistic practice or scientific research. No experience required, all levels welcome!

American folk music is often the soundtrack of labor movements—the rallying cries and songs that tell the story of workers’ struggles. This talk explores the way that blue-collar attire is used by folk and roots musicians in the United States regardless of their own labor backgrounds to show solidarity, express identity, and connect with the histories of the music.
